Biotope Édition is a leading publisher of nature books. A subsidiary of Biotope since 2018, it brings together traditional skills related to the production of scientific books dedicated to nature and biodiversity.
Our books are entirely devoted to natural history: the study and knowledge of the natural world (fauna, flora, natural ecosystems) and the mineral world (geology, palaeontology). Our catalogue consists of identification guides, distribution atlases, encyclopaedic works, species monographs, etc. We collaborate with research organisations (in particular with the Scientific Publications of the National Museum of Natural History) and stakeholders committed to biodiversity (Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux, autres ONG) avec qui nous coéditons certains ouvrages.
As biodiversity protection is not solely the concern of specialists, we also publish books aimed at a less knowledgeable but equally passionate audience. Our catalogue also offers beautiful books and nature hiking guides.
